I have a Squidder that I am having difficulty twisting the Sideplate in to position.  Very Tight.
I used Blue Grease on both sides and checked all of the post screws ( all tight) .
Any ideas on this one ?

Did you make sure that the rim is clean, sometimes a little sand can couse it. Also, try pulling out the thunb screw and hold it out as you twist the plate. See if that helps.
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

back out knurled screw, lift it up and hold it, and then twist the entire side plate clockwise.  it WILL turn.  it's just a question of whether something will break first .....   :-\
send me an email at alantani@yahoo.com for questions!

It's on now and I'm not taking it off any time soon.
