Am I the only one not too happy with the direction AbuGarcia has gone with these reels?

All of my sabiki rigs have older 6500 series reels and they are bulletproof.

I have had my hands on several 9000's and a 7000 all manufactured in China and cannot believe the lack of quality.

your made in PRC Walmart reels are NOT your daddy's made in Sweden Abu, by a bunch of kilometers. My fav bass reel, leaving the Calcuttas hanging on the ceiling, is a pair of 1973 Abu 5500C's. And followed by a bunch of other Abu's and original Lew's. The 7000 size, naw, let's don't start on drum reels....
