If you are looking for a cheap but good LW, check out the Defiance. 4 sizes available. Made overseas. I still use my Avet LX for the big stuff, but caught a 9 lb. shark last week on it and it barely missed a beat.

Penn rolled out the Defiance series to replace the GTO series of reels in the value department. After looking over the schematics they are very well made and with proper care and maintenance should provide years of reliable service.
SBT should receive spares for them in the following months.
