Broke 5:1 Jigmaster gears

Randy, thanks for the offer.  I have enough stock Jiggy parts to last more than a lifetime.  When that one broke, I pulled a steel main 4:1 head plate ready out of the box.

Gregg, plates are mounted on a Tiburon frame.   Thanks for the details.   I have a Shimano TLD Star that filled the need, though we never got deeper than about 150 feet.  A standard Jigmaster would have done the job.  I fished with 8oz of lead most of the time, which is on the low side for that type of fishing, but I was achy for a couple days.  

I'm appreciating more and more the risks of building franken-reels, and also how different reels fit different needs.  Thanks to this site!
