Pflueger 2048 Sea-Vue, an 18oz. 250yrd "surf-casting" reel from the late '40's into the '50's. This is the same reel as the Ohio (1978) but with one of Pflueger's several permutations of their "Mechanical Thumber" AB mechanism. This "MT" mechanism employs "drag" washers that only engage, via one-way cams, when line is out-going.
