I've seen several cracked races on Avet pinion bearings, they are a "deep grove" bearing with thin/weak races.  Now I replace the right pinion bearing every time I work on Avets up to the HX.

Well what is the "right bearing then"?
I'm not the one who crushed the bearings, the people i bought them from sold me mechanically unsound reels, and i jumped on em for cheap.
The other 3 i have havent had a problem, so im not thinking i will need any "upgrade" of any sorts.

alan the dimensions are 6x11x5 for the sx pinion bearing. Going to need a couple. Ill pm you for details!
