Need part - Calcutta 250

the plastic cap/nut that threads onto the back of the levelwind assembly has cracked and now it wont keep pressure on the levelwind.   This is a calcutta 250.  I noticed my newer calcuttas use a metal cap instead of plastic.   Hoping someone has one they can sell me

My 251B is benched for a similar reason.
The plastic cap was cracked.
I took it apart and noticed uneven wear on the pawl from the cracked/ loose cap.

If it's just the cap that's damaged, I'm  pretty sure one of the metal ones will fit.

Get the chromed caps. They are the same size and they last.
