Good Value on Okuma SST Casting/Trolling Rods

Wanted a couple more of these Okuma SST 7.5' Light Action rods for trolling.

I already have a couple of these that I have used for 4 years, or more.  No failures, great sensitivity, tough, good components, nice action.

These are run on our Sierra lakes and reservoirs trolling for trout.  Browns, Rainbows, Kokanee.

I pair these with a Penn "9" — lead core line — a 10' mono leader — and a Speedy Shiner or Thomas Bouyant.

At this price for this rod — I just ordered a couple of extras.  At most places, they are $60 to $79.

And a lot of times, when a really good product works for me — the manufacturer either changes it — or discontinues it — or changes the name, decreases the quality, and increases the price.
