Whoa! Good detail here. Since I beat on my rods, I use cheap repairs. "Shoe Goo" on foam handles. Any spare guide that's close to the right size. Finally tried playing around with a spiral wrap on a cheap trolling rod. Anything with a cork handle, I'm more careful with than I wanna really be, though. Just a nice St Croix spinner, and the Baja Custom 49'er baitcaster from Alex(he'll prolly read this thread 😁), and all my fly rods.
Fishing tackle is an art form and all fish caught on the right tackle are"Gfish"!
