Trishul:  Please describe what you mean by jigs.  600-650gm is almost 1 1/2lbs or 21 to 23 ounces.  Jigging a 1 1/2lb iron will give you shaky arms.  I guess that's ok, you don't have to catch fish to feel tired from reeling . Dominick

I'm not sure what you are looking for but there is a company called River 2 Sea that makes a jig called the Sea Rock which made one 700gm going down to 500, 300, 200, 150gm. After looking at their website it only lists them up to 300gm but one store that sells online lists that they have the larger models. Here is one color that they have, is this what your looking for?

hahaha d0minick i belive t0 fish 200-250m i will need such jigs and i plan 0n getting a r0d and reel f0r that s0rt 0f jigging, 0nce y0u get the technique right its n0t t00 bad,  a sh0t 0f whiskey 0n the b0at with s0me redbull will help sum0n that much needed energy plus the fish at th0se depths in 0ur waters are harldy preasured 0r m0lested by 0ther fishers im just really keen t0 see what i find d0wn there i kn0w f0r sure there can be big gr0upers, ruby snappers, large ajs, and maybe even 0ilfish.

These  600gm chrome banana pirks are available in the UK. They can be modified by sticking holographic tape on in different colours and patterns.Your brother could pick some up for you if he is prepared to accept excessive baggage charges

irish jigger- the 0nes 0n the australia site seem diffrent,, he always ends up paying extra baggage charges as the 0nly half decent tackle sh0p cl0sest t0 me is in m0mbassa kenya (captain andys kenya) which is a 7 h0ur drive but i d0 make the trip s0me times

most of the "jigs" I'm familiar with in that size range are old-school codfish jigs ("Norwegian" jigs). Back in the days of mono lines, 21oz jigs or heavier were pretty common. Now with the braided super lines, smaller reels, and lighter weight rods, lighter jigs have become popular when codfishing - I tend to use from 8 to 14 oz for about 100 - 200 ft of water.
(I'm going on a pollack trip in March where we are fishing 400' and we've been told to go no lighter than 16oz)

All that being said - Kilsong probably carries more metal jigs of more types than anybody else I know. you may want to check his site - jignpop.com
He's got pretty extensive experience jigging all over the world, so he may have some ideas on what you  might try.
I've met him a few times and he's always been super friendly and helpful.

Most of the jigs in the 500+ gm range on his site seem to be norwegians, although I do see a few "butterfly" style jigs there as well.

True that the site provides some very cheap jigs, but on the first page i also found copies on several known manufactures of lures,  among them a copy of Fathead Junior. I was also pretty shocking to find exact "1:1 copies" of both the Bulldawg, as well as the softbaits of our competitors!.  But I can see with a half eye, that the copyist made a major mistake on the tail of the Bulldawg , a good reason for bying the original.
