Finest Kind

Most depictions of fishing on TV and in the movies are cringe-worthy. An exception would be any of the Humphrey Bogart movies that feature fishing. And my all time favorite, "Tiger Shark" with Edward G. Robinson

The Julia Childs bit had me ROFL'ing. Love the wife too.

He sure does use some humongous gear for a little freshwater outing, eh?.  :fish

What about Henry Blake's hat on MASH?  I think there are some Les Davis Bolo Spinners on it.

Not exactly a new release, but today I watched for the first time, "Walk the Line", a Jonny Cash biopic. Great movie, and had several Zebco 33 scenes, they even referred to it by name. Oh, and Reese is a doll!

John, Crunch and Des was also a weekly TV series in the late 50's or early 60's.  Maybe before your time.  It didn't last long and only a couple of the episodes seem to be available on line.
