Afternoon!!

new to the site. have been a lurker for a while and have taken the plunge. i have a love for old bass reels, and penn and just about any fresh water reel from the 70's thru the mid 90's. I cannot seem to stop myself from buying them when I find them looking lost and abandoned at yard sales or thrift shops.  I find more pleasure from fishing with the old stuff then my modern gear.
Alan helped me several years ago rehabing an old diawa reel{thanks for the info and the parts}, I use it still, when fishing on the bottom. thanks for such a wonderful place to keep me busy.
