Shakespeare Jupiter 300 yd

Here's a Jupiter 2213.  It shows up in the '27 catalog.  It's a little taller than a LB 60 and almost the same width.  No info on the gear ratio, but I would guess no more than 3:1.  Easy enough to figure out once it goes back together.  The top post and stand are riveted to the ring.  No brand name on the thumb guard but it's identical to Pflueger. 

Anybody know how long these were made?   

I can't imagine fighting a big game fish with this reel.  The catalog says it'll do it so it must be true...just like everything on the internet, right?
