The year was 1974.

DQ's new (N) line of (7) reels was extremely popular with anglers worldwide.

This was the smallest in the group —- a tiny high speed 1:5 powerhouse.  Steel worm-drive, over-built frame and bearing, phosphor cut bronze main gear.

Here is a 110N made from new parts.  The paint has been stripped, even the spool is new.  Micro-tuned.

$70 and I will split the shipping with you.

Figure $75 to your door via Priority Mail.

A very unique item.

Pretty reel.
It's good to see you going a bit non-traditional. When you strip the paint and polish, is there a clear coat applied?

Good eye, as usual, Joe —-

I had used a sharpie to color the metal silver stripe.

But instead switched it this morning to some 3M automotive striping I had on hand.  That stuff lasts forever in all types of conditions —- and never fades.

No clear coat, Steve —-

Just stripped and polished.
