Thanks, Tom —-

Yes, you are of course correct.  It looks like it is a Sagarra that might have been made by Sagarra of Spain —- for another company (sort of like a trade reel).

This one works flawlessly, has never seen salt, very little sign of use.

I'll play with it for a bit, open it up, service it, learn how it works —- then get rid of it.  Should be a little rare, or maybe a lot rare in this model, in this condition.  Then pass it or trade it along to someone.  Or maybe just toss it in the bin that has Luxors, Cracks, Centaures, RuMer's, etc..  Not a big market for these, except to a few collectors.

The European reel history and number of reels is staggering to me.  Talk about a rabbit hole!  This is a gigantic cavern that I would definitely get lost for a lifetime in.  Not my cup of tea or much interest.

Same friend has a couple of crates of ABU baitcasters, and also a bunch of Alcedo Microns.  I'll probably head back there in a few weeks to pick them up.

OK, here is the list —-

All reels are smooth, no rust, bails & A/R's working.

One is missing the bail assembly, two have broken drag knobs —- but I have all the new parts needed.

Most will benefit from a full cleaning, service, and specific replacement of worn mechanical or cosmetic parts in order to improve to near new.

Some may get powder-coated in interesting colors...or back to original colors.

Even the rough looking ones are super smooth operating.

All good, quality reels.  I cherry-picked each one.

Headed down the mountain yesterday to pick up some lumber. Went to Lowe's, Home Depot, and Harbor Freight, plus renewed the travel trailer license at AAA.

Stopped by the Swap Meet early, and picked up a few things —- some new, or nearly new reels and rods.

ABU 5500C, Sweden, silver, new
ABU 4601C4, Sweden, Blue, new or nearly new
Shimano TR100-G, LW, Japan, new
Shakespeare Wondercast Deluxe, FG, near new
Cardinal 753, new, on a Fenwick 5' new rod
Mini-Mite Gold on a 4' 3" Fenwick, both new
500C silver on a 42" custom rod,  both new
GS-10 gold, on a Sigma Supra I6 rod, rod new, reel near new
Cabela 8' 6" downrigger rod, new
Shimano MLZ-10 on a 4' Garcia Conolon rod, rod new, reel near new
Shimano MLZ-10 on Shakes Micro-Series rod, rod new, reel looks new

All for sale, plus another maybe 25 ultralight combos that include Wright-McGill, Fenwick, etc. —- plus DAM Quicks, Daiwa's, Penns, Cardinals, Mitchell's, and Shimanos.

Plus many quality ultra-light reels just in the bins without rods.

If any interest, let me know —- before I offer them up to the general public down the hill at about 30% more.
