YIKES! I'm usually up close to Hackensack draggin' in the "eyes" this time of year, Oct 8th - 20th. Had 3" on my boat & dock one year ('09).  It was cold! Indian Summer came the next couple of weeks.   ;)
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)
