Howdy,,
I've been looking at some information on the 282 models..
and, see where there's an "Old" and a "Newer" generation..

The newer says it has a gunmetal anodized finish,,

I'm wondering what Internal differences there are? parts, materials, design,etc..

The old is more rough cut and not polished before anodizing.

I'll post pics of CS500 and CS501 tonight to demonstrate the difference.

By they way, you have access to 282s?  I want!!!

External finishing doesn't sound like a deal killer to me!!

I didn't know if there were any significant internal differences..

No access to them, just arming myself with knowledge, should the opportunity arise!
