So a follow up to this. I did take everything down and started out with leaving the ar in the frame.

It was originally working sometimes, just not all the time. So with it in the frame used a cleaning solution and worked the ar to loosen it up. Even used the sleeve that goes into the ar bearing to work it.

AR bearing worked smooth and applied light Penn oil to it.

After assembly, anti reverse was working fine.
