If anyone is going to the PCS show this weekend and is willing to pick up a couple Duran Fishing Products Micro Surface Irons for me please let me know.

I'm looking for the 2″ long 1/8oz Aluminum in Purple, Silver and Blue/Silver. 2 of each color

Let me know if you're willing?

Thanks
PJ

PJ, I will keep my eyes open.  Will they have a booth?
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Went the the show yesterday,  I met up with John (Brewcrafter) and some of his friends.  Mark T was there but we didn't bump into him. All the regular vendors were there, Penn, Shimano, San Diego Tackle Traders, Turners, Fishing Syndicate, Pole Guards, Melton Tackle, and many more.

PJ asked if I would stop by the Duran Fishing Products booth and pick up some 2" surface irons.  Cute little things.

A notable deal was Tackle Express with their 50% off ($150) Penn Carnage III rods.  Needed 1 to replace a broken rod, left with 2 ;D

Berkeley was spooling newly purchased reels and there was a 2 hr wait.  Ahem, cough, cough, John  ;) .  Lots of boats that I can't afford.  The Suzuki booth had some nice "window dressing" but when it started to rain the show was over  ::) .

Beer was expensive, $16 for a Salty Crew 16oz can.  Didn't see many food vendors.  Crowds were manageable.  John and I spend a minute with Penn's Steve Carson and Tony Dubcheck (spelling?)  always gracious.

I left around 3:30 pm as the rain was getting heavy.  Took 3 hours to get home only to encounter 6" of light dry snow on the mountain. Lots of abandoned cars on the side of the road, sometimes reducing the 2 lane road to 1 lane.  I chained up early and had little trouble getting home.  Did have to wait for the snow plow to clear a small hill so I could enter my street.  Bill

Thanks for picking those up for me Bill. Let me know how you'd like to get paid!

I plan on using those in Florida and Connecticut as well as CA

The Italian way.  Cash in a brown paper bag.   ;D   Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

The typical experience from good vendors at the show; when I was with Bill at the Duran booth (that had a lot of stuff) the minute the rep knew exactly what PJ was looking for, he went straight to the display and started pulling lures.  First class operation.  And probably the smallest lures any of us bought all day. -john

I use Duran clamps on a few deckhand rods, great product if you're looking. They have one now with an adjustable trigger, really well made unit. Great service from them too
Do what you can with that you have where you are

I got this for free by buying 3 JRI jigs from Fishermans Landing plus a DW1 surface iron.
It's supposed to be a Keychain but ai bet it would swim with a hook on it!
