the "Wide Kit": I believe it was the Newell "Wahoo Special". It came with high speed gears, a wider aluminum spool, and cross bars.

The reel lower right is a 349H with Newell wide spool and bars.

That's it.  I saw the wide 349 spool on the bay once.  Seller was asking 200 for it.
