Anyone ever have issues with the drive shaft coming loose since it is held in place by only a tiny E-clip?  Seems like a very weak design?  I prefer it when the shaft is held down by screws..like in the Daiwa Sealine and PENN GS reels.

Always.   Replace the clip ones with the screw and don't forget to use Locktite otherwise you just changing one problem for another.

This is one of the few issues you will have with this reel.

Is it possible to replace the e-clip with a screw on the tld 15/30 ?
