cutting 4-40 ss screws

farmer56 here , i'm ordering a recessed ss door pull for my lund boat from McMaster-car and thought i would get a box of screws to help offset shipping costs.. first will an electrical pliers with the 4-40 hole cut ss screws . if so would the narrow fillister head phillips 3/4 " be the way to go .  part no. 91737 A312 . screws are for my Penn reels jigs,squids,100,180,146 etc. or is ss too hard even in that  size . thanks dennis

I've cut quite a few with diagonals and just cleaned the ends up with a file.

 I believe Penn is 5-40.

A big thank you Thor... i'm bad you are right 5-40 is right . i got excited about free shipping and my 66 year old brain misfired . thats why this site is so needed . dennis
