I fished halibut and big ling cod at the Icy Bay Lodge, AK from July 7, 2025.

It was a blast to catch halibut and big ling cod.

The highlight of the trip was I caught 51 lb halibut using 3.7 oz Bixod ST S722ML rod by JS USA and IRT 100 XL rod filled with 20 lb braid.

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
