Vintage True Temper Rod

Hey All,

Has anyone fished the older True Temper rods?  My neighbor moved and gifted me one in very nice condition.  It's 5 1/2 feet long, two piece and appears to be solid.  From what I could find it was made in the late 60s.  It doesn't look like it saw much use. 

Was curious if anyone remembers these.

Thanks for replying.  That article had another link with some good information, and I stand corrected.  They are "holloglass".

Was curious if anyone remembers using one in their past and what they thought of them.

My father bought them in the 60's or 70's (5 1/2 & 6' boat rods) for his Striper charter boat, fished them hard for years, good mass market rods.
