Penn Fathom II LD2 Handle replacement.

Helloooo Fishos. 

The new Fathom II LD2 has a new push button design that I'd like to take off so I can add a power handle.

Does anyone know if it is loosened counter-clockwise or clockwise???

Its tighter than a Witch's you know whoosie and its makes me wonder if I am making it worse or better by cranking counter-clockwise??? Can't budge it but afraid to force it the wrong way...

Please advise.

It loosens counter clockwise.

john, make sure you save the original handle arm.  i have a grip that bolts onto the original arm without drilling.
