Do any of you have this part?
For Penn 6500 SS
For Penn 7500 SS.

It's the dog with the two small fingers that straddles the ratchet.  Saw some from Australia for 25 plus.  Geez.  Thanks in advance.

I'll take all of them so I can corner the market.

Is the part interchangeable for 6500 and 7500?
If they're new I'll take two.  Thanks Jake

Jason:  While we're on the subj of pre-buying hard-to-get parts, are there other parts you can think of that I should have as backup?  I really depend on the Penn SS reels, have little faith in the newer crap on the market in spinning.

PM me.

Re: other parts if you already have a bronze main then a line roller, bail spring, and a spool shaft would be the only ones I would think of.

Jason:  Easy question.  On a silent dog for a 7500 or 6500, how tight do the little fingers have to be to grab the ratchet?  Is is barely contacting?  Or bend the fingers together so it's snug?  Thanks.

JasonGotaProblem

Fairly tight. The factory gap is about half the height of the dog.
