Found this socket tool in that garage sale tackle box I bought a few months back.

Pretty sure it's for a spinning reel.

Any idea what brand of reel came with this in it's original box?

Or is it aftermarket?

Mitchell is my guess but I wanted to hear what the experts think.

Thanks,

Steev

Could be Mitchell, Steve —-

Although these Mitchell tools that I have do look a little different.

Could be for almost any vintage reel.

Fred,

Mine isn't dual purpose with screw drivers in the handle. So maybe not Mitchell?

They are rough cut by something that wasn't too sharp but left sharp "finger cutters" on one end.

Steve the original owner may have cut the screw driver ends off with bolt cutters.
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Or it broke and they rigged a new bar in there to still use it.

Well if anyone can ID it great.

If anyone wants it once ID'd, to complete there "original new box set", they can have it!
