Boca Bearings For Surf Caster

Boca has ceramics in ABEC 7.  Cost isn't a killer, but it's definitely crazy at 39.00 a pair.  My question:  Have any of you switched over to ceramics and is the cost worth it to switch from stainless steel?  It's for a Abu 6500 C3 CT reel.  Thanks in advance.

Fully ceramic or hybrid ceramic?  I have a reel with full ceramic, they're noisy. No noticeable difference in performance to me anyway. I think a good set of 5's is all you need really, use $39 for bait and go fishing

OK, thanks for the honest assessment. They were full Ceramic bearings.  I figured since the kid said they were so wonderful, then he was falling for the latest marketing trick.  You know, longest golf ball, furthest cast and all that.
