New guy from Texas

Hey, been offshore fishing with my wife off of Texas for a few years, and just started working on my own reels.  Still pretty intimidated with all of the tiny parts, but I'm sure that you guys can get me through it.

We mainly bottom fish, with a lot of jigging and just a little trolling and Tuna fishing as well, plan on starting the swordfishing this year as well.

Great pics flymost. i fished snapper and shark out of Port Aransas back in 83 and 84 when I was just married. Ah. the good ole days.....and welcome!!!!

If you ever feel like trading a trip for a trip just let me know. Of course we don't wear shorts and short sleeves up here in NW Washington, but the fishing is 2nd to none during July, thru Sept.
