Cardinal 754 reel size

I picked up a Cardinal 754 a few days ago cleaned it up .
Took it to a local pond today I was smooth and retrieved well.
Was try to figure the size as 754 does not make sense to me.
I am guessing it would be around a 3000 size reel ?

Decal on spool gives info for 8, 10 & 12 lb. lines (mono).  Lighter end of 3000, maybe.
