Unnamed fly reel looks good

Looks good cant beleive no one put  their name on this

Catching Nemo

I found the same or similar reel in a box of reels in the basement. Also unmarked, other than Made in USA on the reel foot

aok's reel might be Meisselbach.  It has screwed-on side plates/pillars which makes it possible to disassemble and correct any misalignment/distortion from banging it on something,

Stainless steel did not come into common usage until the 1930's. A really high quality vintage reel would have been made of German silver (nickel silver).  Second best is plated brass which is what aok's reel appears to be (check inside the screw hole).

Nemo's reel is stamped and rivited steel and is lower quality (no offense please).
