Yeah their last trip was only a 1.5 day.

Sorry, the  trip I referred to was a 3 day from 6/30 - 7/3.

Well I'm 0/2 on bites.

First fish bit through the 180# flouro leader after he saw the boat 25' from the gaff.

2nd fish pulled the hooks 50' from the boat.

Both fish were well over 100#.

I think the boat as of 4 am is up to 6 fish.

It only takes one school to change your luck. A nice sized school of smaller grade fish decided to bite and we double the boat total in quick order.

Around a dozen fish on the boat including my first, a nice 30#!

I tried to get some a those SoCal Corvinas in the beach surf. I's 0 for 0. They are so fast and skittish.

Short stubby jigs. The West Coast Jiggerz 350g HD jig has hooked the most fish. That jig had accounted for at least 10 bites last night.

Then the Daiwa SK should be doing well too. If everyone is fishing the same type of jig then all fish will be caught on that jig.

A couple people are trying the sk jigs.

Only 3 of us are using the WCJ HD jigs

Fish bite all kinds of lures, you just fish the one you have confidence in
