This booklet came with a Bronson 700 Spin King with box that I recently purchased.
I was searching for a deal on an Abu-Matic 700 at the time.
The booklet has very rusty staples and won't lay very flat for scanning.

I'm not sure of the vintage, but I believe the 700 reel it came with was made from the mid to late 50's.

Very interesting.  It can be hard to find info on this line of reels.

It must be post 1952 because that's when they introduced their first spinning reel, the Flipper 100, and prior to 1958 because the Bronco 300 and Buddy 800 aren't listed and they came out in 1958. In '64 they came out with the Black Hawk 264 and Sea Wolf 290, which were made by Shakespeare. In '67 Bronson was sold to True Temper.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)

Thanks again sandbar for this very interesting booklet on Bronson reels.  As a kid they were very popular in the 60's in Minnesota.

Have a great Sunday!
