The International Sportsman's Exposition in Sacramento, CA was last week.
The show went well, but I missed seeing Alan!
Good news, bad news, the bluefin tuna fishing broke open last season in Northern California, so there was a ton of interest in Internationals and large Fathoms.
The seminars on tuna fishing by myself and Captain James Smith of the M/V California Dawn II were very well-attended.
The bad news is complete closure of salmon fishing [ocean and river] is likely to continue for another year.
All of us in California are hoping that Tony Dubeck comes west to work at the Pacific Coast Sportfishing Show, the first week of March in Orange County.

The very observant will notice that the picture on the screen is James and crew with three nice bluefin tuna, posing under the Golden Gate Bridge!
To be fair, the tuna were caught about 35 miles outside of the Gate.
