Not yet! We haven't anchored up this trip.
Quick Day 4 update. Thetis was crowded with local boats. Only 1 YT caught. Couple of mid size YF on the troll.
Headed to 38 for better YT options.

Nothing at the 38 or 23, on the way up to the 13... again.

You think the Rocks are in your future this trip?
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Day 5- 75 more YF at 13. Can't find decent YT. Only tagged 3 vs 162 YF. Somebody gonna have a heck of a processing bill!
At 3 PM headed for Alijos 150 nm away. 30 miles from 13 caught 6 Wahoo around kelp paddy at dusk. Up to 50 lbs. Put out sea anchor and will locate other paddies tomorrow (Friday). Just about guarantees we'll spend last 2 fishing days at the Rocks. Maybe we can get some decent YT there.
Wind has picked up. Steady 15K with a swell. Rock and Roll! Clear skies the whole trip. Can't see the comet though.
Just say NO....to YF.

The Marlin were all over 13. We must have hooked 25. Some incredible aerial acrobatics. All broke off.

That YF in the photo is bigger than any YF I've ever caught Mike!

I thought processing was done on the boat and part of the package.

Buy it nice or buy it twice.

You can't cut fish at sea in Mexico. They get processed in San Diego.  Almost $2 a pound in the round. Pricey but you get a very good product, vacuum packed and ready to eat
Do what you can with that you have where you are
