80STW 2 Speed Gear Disassembly

Hey all, another question regarding an International. I came across a pair of 80STWs and am having trouble removing the gear set from the right side plate.  The tutorials available for the SW (not the STW) shows to press the plunger and gear down and everything should slide down and out. However, in the case of the STW (with a different 2 speed mechanism), the gear stud (134) has a flange that catches on a bushing and prevents the gear from dropping out. The only thing I can think of is removing the gear stud screw (121) but that screw seems to be on there pretty tight and I'm hoping it's not reverse threaded (not sure why it would be). So before I go wrenching on anything, does anyone have any input on how to remove these gears?

Figured it out. Opened up the other reel and the gear stud screw on this one was finger tight and after I removed it, everything fell out like it should. Good thing I took a look. Turns out the gear stud screw on the first reel was just very tight and needed some extra force to get it loose.
