DAM Quick 2002 Spool

I have a DAM Quick 2002 in near new condition. However the spool has developed a split in the face (see pic). I have ordered a new spool and hopefully it will arrive.
Does anyone have a spare spool for sale?
Can the graphite spools be repaired?
Is there a aluminium spool from another model that will fit the 2002?
This happened a long time ago & the reel has been sitting in my cupboard. Does anyone have an idea what would have caused this split? Ie line spooled too tight /loose?

I'm using 2001 spool on 2002 reel ,they are same .2000 have same diameter spool but bigger shaft  , 5 mm shaft when 2001 and 2002 use 4.5 mm shaft . 2001 have stronger allum spool
