Yes I've used it for king mackerel and cobia fishing off the piers in OBX. It's great line.

I use in almost any application where I'd use Ande- tough and dependable. Won't set any distance records but where that's not the primary function it does fine and dandy in mono situations.

I dunno, but I'd be surprised if it's not made in a plant making Pure Fishing line. The blue and yellow also look a lot like Momoi Diamond to me. I use BPS extreme brand mono for bass fishing, and I'm telling you, I can't tell the difference between it and Stren Original in clear, green and blue fluor. Works fine. I miss the Cabelas Salt Striker they did away with after merger. They had pink in high tests which were getting hard to find from Ande.
