After Market Gears for International VISX 12 And 16

Does anyone make lower  ratio gears for Penn VISX 12 and 16 reels?   Something around  4:1 H and 1.5 :1 L.
I have a International 50SW that has 1:1 low gears but it is to heavy for what I am going to do with it.  Old, busted up, tired and arthritic wrists are a PIA.

I will, they did my 50SW.

No luck with Cal's.  They promptly replied and said this was the first request for VISX lower gears and it would be cost prohibitive to design, tool up and make  a small run.... something I know.

I am very happy with the prompt reply even if it was a dead end.

Would there be enough of a weight savings to move from a 50SW to a 50S?  Or giving up too much line capacity? - john

I would much rather have a 50S over a 50SW but both are heavier than my wrists can handle when jigging for BFT.

I have been looking for a 50S frame and spool for sometime.
