Alternative to Flexwrap/Flextape

I have a whole pocket in my long range bag filled with 1/2 used rolls of the stuff; and pretty much any decent tackle shop has a fish bowl of them next to the register at checkout.  And it works, and is just the thing for underwrap on a spool before adding fresh line.  But on my June 8-day a friend turned me onto these and they work really nice for preventing those Spectra cuts as well as being cheap and reusable.  He gave me a pair and they survived the whole trip, and BillB (while ransacking my tackle bag  ) ran across them and thought they seeemed like a good idea.
