Hi!

I measured the bearings in the handleknob on a Daiwa Saltiga that needs to be replaced. I got the measures inner x outer x width

4,80 x 7,84 x 2,33 mm

Wondering if that is supposed to be 5x8x2,5mm ? Normally when I measure for example 5mm its like 4,96mm.

Any thoughts on the measurement ?

Is it definitely the original handle? No chance it's a mysterious imperial size bearing?

digital calipers do vary a bit but not that much, boon is on the money I would say, 5.96 is generaly 6mm, but 5.80, is giving to much variation, good luck cheers Don.
Don, or donnyboat

5x8x2.5 would be what I would be reaching for if it was a Saltiga. The last half dozen I have done were all standard sizes, and that size is pretty much the standard IME.

Thanks! I'll go with the 5x8x2,5mm. Just thought the masurement did vary a bit more than I'm used to.

I will ask the silly question... you didn't have 0.1mm of schmutz on the jaws of your calipers?  :ct
