There's just so.much more you can do with blue in rod building. There's like 12 shades of red but 60000 shades of blue.

The only blue reel I'd consider is Tom's Cortez Conversions "Ice Blue", like your Squidder.

The Reagan Country sign has blue trim, remember his famous quote: "I didn't leave the D^% Party, it left me".

If Tom decides to make his Mag JM500 in Orange, I'm getting one!  MArkT's Avid collection is impressive!

Good luck with the ice blue Cortez squidder kit. Don't think he's making them in that color anymore, not sure? That color hasn't been in stock in ages and wasn't even an option on his site anymore, last time I looked not too long ago! So gave up and bought a brand new Avet SX MC in blue, just like Mark's Avets posted up above. Absolutely love the way it cast with its MC feature.
The magnet is very controllable and user-friendly. Feels great in hand and very solid, like a little mini tank lol! That's a hell of a blue spread, He's got up there lol! Love it!
