I had to look back when I got my coveted Penn 714 & made this bold statement "I am content" Gregg quickly corrected me I just counted I have acquired 7 reels since then. I sold a few reels that I will never use to pursue my contentedness.

I got a hankering for an old Ambassadeur 5000(red) with pearl handles.I bought one then found another one was $29.99 so I had to.Both have leather cases.I will post pix after they arrive.

Yeah I said I was done. Then I found a very clean squidder for $15 and now I'm telling myself it's ok I was half asleep when I placed that bid and didn't expect to win.

Still can't figure out how a Fenwick rod can ship from Cali for $10 but it takes $15 to ship a small reel from a lot less far away

2 - of every reel is not a bad idea. I recently sold-off a bunch, but I know I'll find more I just gotta have, like I was just sub-consciously making more room for stuff that's NTM(new to me).

I wish I had bought your 5000 Greggor, it was Pristine !!! Too pretty to fish with though a shelfie fer sure.
