Hello everyone.  Happy to find this page and board.  A couple years ago I was able to purchase a pile of stuff from a former Gladding employee.

If I had to guess I probably have 1000s of parts for Dam quick reels including spools, housings, gears, bushing, handles, bail arms, parts kits etc.

Also have reels that are NIB but haven't gone through all of it since bringing it home years ago so I don't know offhand if it's all different reel model parts etc.

Curious if anyone might know if someone within striking distance of CT would be interested.  Way too much to ship.

I just began using Paypal create a quick label,Alan told me about it. It's probably 1/2 of what you pay at the post office for the same priority mail.Makes it easy if you use paypal,it has to weigh under a pound & comes with a tracking #. I bought a label & emailed it to a seller,he just printed it slapped it on the box, took to USPS.Just an idea?

If you have an inventory list of what is available, many of us will surely be interested in the parts/reels . I am sure Fred(foakes) will chime in soon & he is the DQ guru.

Welcome aboard!

It is easy to ship large loads of stuff using UPS or FedEx.

The buyer always pays for the shipping charges up front.

If you want, let me know what you have and want to sell —- with a private message/private message in the envelope icon above the site.

And we can exchange information, including photos.

I have well over 400,000 parts for DQ reels, along with hundreds of complete reels.  Always looking for more.

I have shipped large loads of parts cross country at least a half dozen times using UPS.  400 to 900 pounds each load.

The key is to double box everything, keep it at 40 lbs each box.

Yes, sometimes there will be a rip or small bend —- but secure packing covers that.  It takes time and effort —- but it is very doable.  Not an issue.

Thanks guys.  I'm not sure what all is even here - because I haven't looked at it all.  Shipping would be possible in a bunch of boxes for sure.

I'll have to inventory it all and post it up
