I have Peerless shower & kitchen faucet (lifetime warranty).  Peerless is part of Delta.  Over the years, I have called several times with parts issues.  On the faucet, it usually starts to leak through the spout.  On the shower, the tub spout tends to corrode and then the bypass to operate the shower doesn't work well and, eventually, it leaks inside into the wall.  They have always sent out the parts for repair after a call.

American Standard faucet in one bathroom.  The drain part started to rust & showing possible perforation.  Called; they did not have the part available separate, so sent me a new faucet with drain & the whole faucet.

Needless to say, these companies get high kudos from me.

On the other hand, when my Price Pfister faucet (also lifetime warranty) in the other bathroom started to leak through the body into the vanity, I called and they said they did not have my faucet model in the US anymore, but would send me a replacement faucet from Canada.  When the new faucet showed up, it had the same model name as my old faucet, but was mostly made of plastic and had no attached hoses like my old faucet did, so I would have to buy my own hoses.  The old faucet was almost all metal and much better built than the replacement.  When I called again, PP refused to do any more, even though their replacement was nowhere near the faucet quality that the old one was (and, they have a new model that would be more like what I had, but they won't send me that!).  I contacted the Attorney General consumer protection people in PPs state, and when they contacted PP, PP refused to even talk with them, let alone make their warranty good.  So, no more PP equipment for me.

I'm pretty much strictly a Moen faucet type guy unless they'd be unavailable. I have to admit that their new faucet quality isn't quite as good as their older stuff once was but I've got 50 year old Chateaus throughout my house and the only thing they've ever needed was cartridge replacement every 15 to 20 years or so.
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)
