We have a one page check-off list of things to take.

Sue does half and I do half.

For example, pet supplies & crates/beds, separate go bags with personal items & clothes, cash, sentimental items & photos, tech gear/charging stuff, and important papers such as monthly bills, copy of wills, livings trusts, copies of birth certificates and all other documents.

The two vehicles are always ready and gassed —- and it takes me about 20 minutes to hitch up the travel trailer & verify everything.

The (2) black boxes in our dining room desk have all of the documents.  We just slide them out and put them in the car.

Best to be ready & planned —- instead of fumbling about.

Best, Fred

I'm not that pre organized since I live on top of a hill in an area where hurricanes, wildfires & floods aren't mainstay items. (Thank God!)

The Baja Guy

Penn T30W 2-speeded by Cal (I don't have a 50SW anymore).
Penn 16S, topless.
Penn Baja Special with aftermarket handle.
Shimano TLD30II with Wil Fish frame.
Shimano TLD20II with Tiburon Frame.
Old antique Pflueger 1495 flyreel.
Hardy Perfect salmon flyreel (forgot the model number).
Penn Jig Master with Tiburon frame (reel in original condition was my Dad's, his largest reel).
pristine Ambassadeur 5000C (thumb bar kit-was my Dad's, that he never used).
Mitchell 350 (was my Dad's, his favorite).

I know this is only ten, but I haven't flyfished in over 30 years, nor have I trout fished in over 27 years.  I have fished only in salt water for the last 25 years and I have far too many lighter saltwater reels (Ambassadeurs and Penns) to have favorite or valuable reels.
