I had a Pro Gear bearing cup (which is very hard to replace) with a stuck and very crusty bearing. I soaked it for a week and tried every trick I knew with no success. I tried Jasons inspired procedure, but it was just too stuck. Searching for another plan I came across a video where a guy used a Cleco tool with a little modification. The tools jaws are a little long so they need to be filed down to fit between the bearing and the bottom of the cup. The smallest size is 1/8 inch so I figured it would fit the 1/8 bearing. No such luck. After some experimenting, it fit with 1 jaw removed. The cool part is it still holds and the wedge travels past the jaw and pushes the bearing out of the cup. They come in different sizes and lengths so I'm going to get a few more.
