Will be in Ohio in July or August, and would like to take my grandsons fishing for walleye on Lake Erie. Looking for recommendations for charter boats/captains as well as someplace to stay for a few days near the lake. Thanks!

Two rules on the boat
1. Fish where the fish are

How close are you going to be to the Michigan border?  I know plenty my way that I could refer you to, but nobody in Ohio proper.

MACflyer

Will likely be in the Sandusky / Port Clinton area.

I'm exclusively saltwater, so I appreciate any freshwater advice. Want to see my grandsons love fishing too.

Thanks for the recommendation. Made a reservation a while back with Capt Mike of Hawg Hangers. I'll post a report afterwards. Would love to see my grandsons catch some nice walleyes.
