920 Levelmatic Reel Stand Bars Bent

Need some advice. Purchased a 920 Levelmatic in great condition, at a good price, but after disassembled for servicing, found the "old style" reel stand cross bars are bent. On the plus side, side plates, ring, and bars still match up pretty well, and reel works great when assembled. Should I try to straighten the bars on the reel stand? If so, any tips such as heat, support for bars, etc? Found a new "old style" stand, 30-910, on big bidding site, but it's $32. Good bye to my good buy. Maybe I should just leave it as is, but that's kind of hard for me to do with my gear haha. Thanks in advance.

I have a lot of 10, 20, 30, & 40 parts —- but so far, only a couple of stands.

If you could measure yours, maybe one of these would match.

If so, just $5 + shipping.

These are valuable reels — so if I needed to pay $32 for a stand, I would not be  too concerned.

I might have a stash in one of the outer shops.  Just need the numbers.

Appreciate your input, and generosity, Fred. I may try to straighten the bars. Hopefully that works. Worst I can do is break it. The length of the curved flat bar is 2 & 3/8 inches. The length of the two round cross bars is 2 & 15/32 inches. The stand fits both the 910 and 920.

It looks like it was dropped. If the reel runs true and casts well, then I wouldn't mess with it. It might throw off the alignment somewhere else.

Wow, appreciate you Fred! Stand arrived today and looks new. Swapped out the bent stand, and new one went in perfect: didn't have to manipulate the cross bars to fit retainer ring plate, and no torquing side plates to align screw holes. I needed a win. Boat engine and boat trailer issues have been plaguing me the past couple days. Thanks again, and payment will be sent tomorrow.

Fred, you are an absolute treasure to this community. Occasionally I ponder how many vintage reels (that would otherwise be consigned to a parts bin or even rubbish) must be functional today thanks to you, it must be an enormous number.
