Shimno Calcutta Conquest 301 ticking sound.

Got a Shimano Calcutta Conquest 301 with a ticking sound while cranking. Haven't figured out what it is. Everything seems and feels ok. If I have the reel in normal fishing position the ticking sound is there while cranking, but if I turn the reel over to the left or right side its silent.

Found an old thread on Stripersonline with the same problem, but no final answer what the solution was. Any ideas?

Was the antireversedog. Somehow it slips out of position sometimes. The dog looks ok, but I pushed in the ears a bit more and give it a try.
